Need for Speed Edge was a free-to-play MMO racing game developed by EA Spearhead (previously EA Korea) and distributed by Nexon in South Korea and Tencent Interactive Entertainment (as Need for Speed: Online) in ChinaNexon previewed the game in Korean in a press release on July 1, 2015. It was created in Korea using Frostbite 3. The series’ arcade racing games focus on illicit street racing and require players to finish several races while dodging police chases. Some games are simulation racers, concentrate on legal circuit races, include kart racing game components, or involve illicit street racing without police pursues.
